Luis Castillo is the founder of Light Creates Light — a philosophy, brand, and emerging global movement dedicated to illuminating human potential. With a Master’s from Georgetown University’s Communication, Culture & Technology program, Luis bridges the worlds of culture, technology, and human transformation.

By day, he leads communications at a major financial institution — shaping executive messaging, enterprise narrative, and cultural alignment. By purpose, he builds systems that help people honor the light within them.

Through years of leading organizational transformation and studying the intersection of culture and technology, Luis arrived at an unshakeable conviction: the most valuable thing we can create is light — in ourselves, in others, in the systems we build. He is the author of The Knowledge Worker’s Guide to Transforming Organizations from the Inside Out and a TED2026 Attendee.

That conviction became Light Creates Light. Not just a brand, but a philosophy for living with intention, creating with purpose, and leading with light. Every piece of content, every product, every system Luis builds is designed to illuminate — to help people see what’s possible when they stop dimming their own light.

Luis serves as President of the Board at Creating Foundations for Hope, bringing the same ethos of elevation and service to community leadership. He believes success is measured not by wealth accumulated but by lives positively affected.
